- Hello. I have a USR Sportster 14.4k that does not work correctly
- with the win95 dial-up connection. This set-up used to work on my
- 486 dx2-66 system, but when I upgraded to a Pentium system, then modem no longer connects.
- modem and PPP server modem that I connect to. Everything seems to work fine-
- except that there is no text display on the post dial-up window.
-
- I beleive that the two modems are actually connected, but that somehow win95
- does not acknowlegde this. I tried using HyperTerm that came with win95 and again,
- the modem dials correctly and produce the correct handshake signal, but nothing is displayed
- on the HyperTerm windows. I tried selecting local echo, but only the text that I typed displayed
- on the window- nothing from the remote system.
